The Balm TheBalm Travel palette makes us travel

But tell then, that looongtemps fact that I have not talked to you TheBalm here! My last review was in October (I presented the concealer pot Time Balm) so I really had to remedy this situation. It left for a new desire to dive into this world with retro palette Balm travel! I managed to find that palette in a private sale proposed by Beauté Privée: If this site offers, I will always share the information on social networks (facebook, twitter, instagram) because the discounts are super interesting! From memory, this palette had resulted in almost 50%. Some products are still available on the site but I cross my fingers that a new sale make its appearance in the coming weeks. P alette Balm The Balm Travel was conceived as a travel kit to carry everywhere to achieve a variety of looks. It contains 16 eye shadows arranged in such a flight plan, and even wear own numbers to the seats there are to settle in a place of record .. Certainly, the brand is very good at creating world! Obviously, the outer packaging is funny, super nice to look at but it is always the case so I owe nothing you learn!

We can make up in the integrated mirror the palette and impersonate Vacation Anita, a native American from San Francisco

3 creamy blushes (which can be used on the lips) also accompany these eyeshadows but they are protected by a protective flap to prevent pigment eyeshadows decide to cover them when the pallet loads with us . Malin!

It left for the roundup of 16 eyeshadows: brand invites us to play with colors to draw on destinations that make us dream!

Let's start with the row # 4, which is at the bottom of the aircraft uh, pardon, top of the range!
The A4 is a dark gray shadow sprinkled with gray micro sequins, barely noticeable; B4 is a medium brown, C4 is a copper / rust .. quite strange and dark green D4:

Then come the shadows A3 - a frosted white superb pulling silver, B3 - a brown taupe matt, C3 - brown "café au lait" mat medium and D3 golden champagne:

The row No. 2 is much more colorful: A2 is a purple lilac very nice but unfortunately quite transparent (on the photo below I have applied three layers to be able to present its true color), B2 - a beautiful blue mint Satin, C2 - a blue lagoon with a touch of green (this absolutely crazy eye!) and D2 satin pink champagne:

Finally, the first row is wiser: A1 is a pink taupe metallic and bright, B1 a makeup nude matte finish, C1 beige / satin white satin and a yellow chick D1:

The Balm Eye's shadows are generally well pigmented with the exception of some references to the palette (I think including A4 and A2 it will work to bring out the color correctly). The matte shadows tend to be less powdery than others: in general, I find that the shadows in this palette are more powdery than those offered by other brands, it will be necessary to think well tap your brush before the near your eyelid. One thing is certain by cons: they are working fine (C2 can be quite difficult to blur but with a clean brush, it's OK) and their rendering is really pretty. I find this rather comprehensive range because it allows for many makeup, very different from each other and, thanks to the presence of some very colorful blushes!
Obviously, I did not offer you a makeup "nude" while pretty makeup mint / lagoon deserved to be highlighted!
To do so, I worked C2 blush in the hollow of my eyelid and outer corner: as I explained, it was a bit rebelled and was working less obvious than others but its Rendering is pretty! Internally corner, I opted for this sublime and mint on the center of my eyelids, I tabled this eyeshadow lilac:


I rarely wear makeup every day such as I tend to stick to my bright and quick to apply makeup but I must admit that it makes me want to highlight my paddle and have fun a little more of the morning see what spring trio!
As I explained, this palette also contains 3 Lips & Cheeks hidden behind a magnetized flap that makes it easy to take his palette weekend / holiday or simply to protect them. I am one of those fond of creamy products for cheeks, I think it gives a nice glow to the face and with my dry skin, it is always appreciated. I find the texture of those there on top against by careful, no need to rub 4 times in your brush, pigmentation is .. really crazy! Do not hesitate to fade excess pigments before applying them (finger or brush, for my part, I'm still addicted to Stippling Brush Real Techniques that I print for over 3 years. A story love that is not ready to complete)


If you have "normal" lips you can also serve to disguise but I find their texture is slightly asséchante so I prefer to use it to make up my cheekbones. With naturally rather dry lips, I find that the finish is not great.

Overall, I find this really nice range but I do not think it's my favorite reference in TheBalm! Besides speaking of nice discovery, I now testing a lipstick that I find very nice and I think you talk again soon because it's worth a look! Bouuuuh spoiler .. I promise, the wait will not be too long!

Lip balms L'Occitane Peony Sublime

After you have proposed a video on the range of Occitane Peony Sublime (here), you between some asked me for a detailed review 4 balms range lips. Knowing that these are my favorites of the collection (with perfecting mist which I keep talking to you), I obviously executed and I come today to present them.
In the US, a brand is particularly known for its lip balms: Fresh. The proposed packaging is really great since they present themselves in colorful metallic tubes. When I went to the launch party of the range Peony Sublime L'Occitane, these lip balms directly attracted me precisely because of their packaging ..

These are 4 colors (including transparent) that are proposed and tube reflects the color of the grapes. I'm a big fan of peonies are my favorite flowers and I find that the collection L'Occitane has a superb graphical universe that perfectly reflects the delicacy of these flowers. I find that these tubes are absolutely gorgeous ..

The big innovation is that never again will your lip balm will open in your bag to bring their touch inside fabric of the latter or in your wallet, your keys. Finally, if you opt for one of these four lip balms because Occitane has thought of a metal tube on which is screwed a plug. To access your balm, it will be necessary to "twister" this plug. It's super smart and I'd like to think more brands incorporate such protection on their lipsticks because I have made myself more than once ..!

So back to lip balms in themselves: L'Occitane has formulated from a peony extract to nourish, smooth and protect the lips (with a SPF25) while showcasing them with a colorful sail ( for 3 of them).


From right there is therefore the care of lips that just brings classic hydration and a slightly glossy finish then come the proposed 3 colors: pink nude, amber and plum pink rose.


The "classic" balm is ideal to slip into his bag and is perfect for those seeking a transparent balm. It can also be used to make a moisturizing layer over your lipstick if a tightness sensation is felt.

The nude is a light pink rose that réhausse slightly lips:

Amber rose is probably the one I like the least because I think it applies in a somewhat less homogeneous than others. It's still nice if you prefer warmer tones.

Then comes the plum pink pigmentation which is stirring:


I wore elsewhere in this video and it's amazing that perfectly colored lips like a lipstick.
Not balms that will repair the badly damaged lips however, they are enriched with shea butter so they can protect the lips and maintain a good level of hydration. Their texture is amazing because extremely velvety and absolutely not sticky.
If you try these balms, they are available on the e-shop of the Occitane and Birchbox. Recently, Occitane is selling a nice box containing three colored lip balms and it is worth the cost because it is sold € 35 instead of € 45. If like me, you had a favorite, it will achieve a good economy. If I had to choose only do I advise you surely .. pink nude pink plum but also because one can easily door daily and the other has a beautiful color!

Cocoa Blend Zoeva range of tested and approved!

Decidedly, the Zoeva brand is very dynamic and we regularly offers attractive new .. I told you in March their new palette Golden Rose (my review here) and among all pallets of brand I've tested, Unfortunately it was one that had me the most disappointed. Meanwhile, I tested the brushes from the same collection last month and against them by, I can not do without me. Besides being gorgeous, they are soft and hyper serve me daily. I had the opportunity to discover the latest new Zoeva is even a palette ..! This time it is the Cocoa Blend!

I received this palette in a box wrapped like a nice chocolate bar and the brand has even slipped a candy gluttony .. who disappeared at lightning speed. Milk chocolate = yummy!

The packaging of this range is lovely as it is, as always, a decorated cardboard box. This time, the brand has opted for a very graphic and gold motif that I find very beautiful:
The negative point of the packaging has not changed: there is still no mirror but as I have already told you before, that the packaging is so "simple" allows the brand to offer us Pallets containing 10 eyeshadows a super reasonable price: it takes 17 € 50!

Cocoa Blend range contains a selection of matte shadows and metallic and satin shadows: all in all, they are warm colors that achieve more autumnal makeup. Strange indeed that we Zoeva offers for this summer 2015 but say that it allows us to be sighted .. And realize makeup effect sunset. And there's no seasons for that

Bitter Start is a cream-colored eyeshadow in matte finish, Sweeter End is a pinkish beige with golden highlights (he plays a little on transparency), Warm Notes is a beautiful cranberry Metallic and Subtle Blend is a gilded copper:

Then there are White Beans (almost black brown), Pure ganache (a crazy gold, this is one of the finest in my collection) Substitute for Love (brown with orange average sub-tones) and Freshly Toasted (an auburn brown)
And finally Infusion (brown infused with gold sequins, which therefore bear its name well) Delicate and Acidity (a taupe MARONNE):

Unlike palette Rose Golden, I find that the selection of cosmetics is really superb and very well balanced: between matte finishes and those that are much brighter, but also thanks to this balance between bright colors and dark colors can be make beautiful makeup only thanks to her! Pigmentation blush blew me away: some are so beautiful that I lose my words!
Here is the makeup that I made with it:

In inner corner I filed Pure ganache and then I opted for Warm Notes (the eye's crazy!). In outer corner I worked Beans Are White and I used a touch of Substitute for Love in the hollow to provide a bit more definition. In ras-lower lash I opted for Sweeter end! Of course, needless to say that I traced my usual eyeliner and respect that I added a touch of color pencil flesh mucosa, without forgetting the mascara!
For my part, I conquered, and I think this is now my favorite palette in Zoeva!

The new anti-shine base Revlon signed PhotoReady

I spoke yesterday of the new foundation bases that have "revolutionized" routine and my complexion who quickly made me want to leave my creamy complexion bases deep in my chest. I must say that when we propose a quick, refreshing without silicones and especially effective, I can hardly stay away for long. For over a month, so I will use more than these two foundation bases "pschiit". With dry and dehydrated skin regularly, they are fine for me and as you may have read in my article, I am sure! Except being blogger beauty is also know to step back and introduce products for different types of skin, even if, obviously, I am less able to correctly judge the products for oily skin for example.

I just got it a few weeks ago the new anti-shine PhotoReady basis of the range of Revlon. Here is what the brand says the i is a multi-use primer with an anti-shine service. This smoothing base mask imperfections, erases fine lines and wrinkles and refines skin texture for perfect application of foundation. Its ultra-light formula glides on the skin helps eliminate shine. It is not greasy and "non-irritating".

I must say that I had many preconceptions about this product because the promise vaguely reminds me of the base Flower Power Bourjois tested in 2012. Remember I talked about here, it's one of the few products which caused me extremely rude allergic reaction and had made my face swell ... Yet I react as violently rarely. A small irritation, but it can happen that swells the skin .. it is another thing and a little panic in the moment!

This Revlon anti-shine base is compact and less creamy than I Bourjois So quickly had hated. I think this may qualify texture balm powder-soft-focus finish transparent. When the mark indicates that this basic camouflages imperfections, I think the term is a misnomer: it is more of a soft-focus imperfections that smoothes the skin to facilitate the application of pigmented.

What is very surprising is that this product is super light and indeed blurs pores, fine lines and reliefs on the face. It turns into a hyper velvety powdery effect veil. Obviously, silicones topped the list of ingredients.
I found that on my dry skin, this tended to extremely dry my skin and so, instead of improving the holding of the foundation, the opposite happens. The record quickly became "dry" and gradually the foundation "flakes" and leaves traces. This proves to me that this product should be ideal for oily skin that tends to shine quickly as it controls shine very well. I remain however quite fearful response to the presence of such concentration of silicones: if you already use and that your skin has never reacted badly, there is no reason for that to happen this time and if you still looking for a miracle product to fight against excess sebum, it could appeal quickly. But if your skin tends to make you understand that it chokes when using silicone products (blocked pores, pimples, etc.), I advise you to stay away.

I appreciate against by its packaging that can be slid into the bag: This product can be applied in the morning before going to the application of your foundation but during hot summer days, if the need s 'arises and thanks to its transparent texture, you can reapply by tapping a little matter with the sponge provided.

The summer collection 2015 NARS x Christopher Kane

Today, I could not wait to see you because I will tell you about the summer collection 2015 NARS x Christopher Kane: my favorite brand has partnered with the great Scottish designer to offer us a collection "NeoNeutral". A collaboration that was evident enough for both parties because since 2012, Christopher Kane mannequins are masked by NARS. Decidedly, I am delighted to see that it moves far from NARS, after the release of Audacious Lipsticks to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the brand (which I told you about here) but after the superb collection of Dual-Intensity Blushes, one arrives still surprising us with pretty new. Who says NeoNeutral said neutral reworked .. And this is what we find in this collection: a zoom on neon colors, warm thoughts to the face but also some shades that play on transparency for the same light output and cons -balancer especially sublimate these hyper pep keys. The two men share a passion for color and have a creative mind overflowing: get ready to see the amazing colors!
This collection includes 10 products that you can already find on the e-shop of the brand and I have 3 to present to you today! The packaging of products remains the same as usual but Christopher Kane has brought his touch of neon pink! I find it hyper graph and I can spot my products faster with this distinctive emblem

I suggest you start with a nice duo eyeshadows named Parallel Universe:

I find that in the collection of duets NARS, there are colors that are truly worth, and that is not found easily in pallets for example. For your investment, avoid direct you to the duets mattes and neutrals, go on these beauties that include truly original hues. I think the duo that I present today is the most beautiful of my collection:

It includes a pastel lilac blush satin finish and a pretty crazy makeup, very difficult to describe because its reflections evolve following the brightness. It is a beige mole to slightly pink reflections and which contains a water green tip. Very crazy !

To make makeup below, I applied this blush taupe mutated throughout my eyelid and I swept the pastel lilac eye shadow in the hollow. It was very difficult to capture the reflections of the shadow on the eyelid because as I explained to you, it really reacts after the light! In outer corner, I applied a matte plum blush of my palette Lorac Pro to add some definition

The most amazing part of the collection, this probably blush Starscape:

A neon pink the same color as that used on the outer packaging of boxes in the collection. NARS is probably one of the brands of reference in terms of blushers and if you have already had the opportunity to test, it does not surprise you. It has many shades, texture powder is an incomparable lightness and yet the pigmentation is at the rendezvous.

When you discover that neon pink, one panic a little at first. You should know that its texture is smooth with a mad but its pigmentation is equally .. And a shade too pep, we must ensure in taking a little bit at the risk of looking like a woman who ran a Marathon 5428 kiomètres. Maybe even more. You get the idea.

My tip: stroke the blush once with his brush, lightly sweep the surplus on the back of his hand (and yes, even with a simple caress, there are ae of #crazy surplus) and work the material on its cheeks. The result is surprising because the application of natural and ease.

I possessed no comparable color because I never thought it would suit me. I was convinced that these were superb neon colors on black skin and clear skin like me had to avoid at all costs, always in the history of the marathon. And I actually valid. It's fresh, summery and it carries a lot easier as you might think. Oh, and as you say that given the amount of product I fee for an application, I would use it beautiful for the rest of my life, I can still pass it on to my grandchildren!

Outer Limits is the shadow of the collection that plays on transparency and yet is unique. This is a color "melon" dotted with micro-glitter pink and gold:

Its texture is once again an incomparable sweetness and once installed, you will not need to worry about any glitter falls .. because there will be none!

It makes me think of Sparkle Eyeshadow Bobbi Brown that I presented recently, but here the colorful reflections are again over summer. Which is rather nice for a summer collection!
I think that the products I have presented in this article are the essential pieces of the collection. In the latter, the expertise Nars is combined with feminine sensibility pioneering Christopher Kane and the result is explosive. I was blown away by these products and I think they will seduce more than one. For me, it is once again a huge TOP!
