Varnishes Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy: Big love!
In the family of swatcheuses sérial I ask ... Laura! After re-installed my nail shelves (I showed you this on Instagram and believe me, their installation has not been easy), I thought it was time to talk of varnish ColorStay Envy gel Revlon because I had the opportunity to discover there are several weeks now and I've even told you about the top coat in the range of my favorites of June! Today I will introduce my favorite for this range because it is definitely worth a visit!
For starters, what is special about the new range?
There was already 10 shades within this range and are now 30 to be proposed in France! These varnishes are 2-in-1: they do not require the application of a base. We go directly to the application of color and the topcoat.
Their formulation has been designed to deliver professional results: integrated basic protection film serves as acrylic polymers allow color to glide on the nail for a rapid implementation and above all, an ultra-smooth results. Illuminators have been added to provide color to a finished ultra-glossy gel. In short: a comparable semi-permanent manicure without having to rub the nail (and damaging) since it withdraws manicure quite classic, with solvent!
I was skeptical enough for several reasons: I always apply a base when I perform a manicure because I too fear that the discolored varnish on my nails so the principle of 2-in-1 moderately reassuring me. I also fear that the result on the nail too close to the semi-permanent and you notice a "thick" layer and unsightly.
So I embarked on my tests and ... obviously I was blown away! Here are the colors I have to present to you today:
As you will notice below through my swatches, these varnishes have names from the community card games, poker or just gambling. It's really fun and I welcome the provision as to successfully nominate 30 colors (and there are more in the US it seems), we must have the inspiration to spare!
It left for the swatches before share with you my opinion!
From left to right, are:
210 Lights Casino, a beautiful canary yellow
600 Queen of Hearts, deep red
440 Wild Card, electric blue Olivia Wilde also carries in the campaign for the polish!
630 Long Shot, a fairly hot orange
240 Dealer's Choice is a turquoise green with a peak and it has micro silver and blue glitter.
500 Ace of stones is a charcoal gray microphone also comprising silver sequins.
340 Say's the last varnish is a siren as it is a pastel turquoise metallic effect with a "frosted"
420 Winning Streak is a spectacular Summer varnish since it is a pastel lilac
530 Double Down is a hyper deep copper
430 Showtime dark blue with a purple tip and micro glitter in the same tones.
Finally, 320 Full House is an electric turquoise with a touch of mint, I love!
As I explained to you, since this is a manicure in two stages, one also finds the Diamond Top Coat Gel Envy:
Why this range blew me away? Firstly because without basic wear, has no hue transferred on my nails - same blue "Wild Card"! The fairly liquid and yet highly pigmented texture of these coatings enables an application in a wink, and the second layer is used to improve the result (except for the color Sky's the Limit is really needed). The only shade that gave me a little bit of trouble, that's canary yellow Lights Casino but I feel that finding a yellow varnish that applies eyes closed falls almost impossible. With some additional brush strokes it's OK still very good!
I would say that the colors had already convinced me but the one who has definitely exceeded my expectations, that's Diamond Top Coat is a marvel!
Not only smooth the applied color but it brings a beautiful shine without regard to effect. It dries quickly, and improves handling not found on this side "polish on the nail 5 millimeters" I hate. The rendering is very natural and yet much more brilliant than other coatings / top coats. Try it and adopt it!
If we find them a flaw, I would say that a semi-permanent manicure takes an average of ten days while for this range after 5 days, some glitches make me want to redo my manicure.
Morality, of course I suggest you find a color that you like and opt for the color combo + top coat to test this range. I think you will, like me, bluffées quickly!
